Piggy Bank!

Make your own Piggy Bank! They turn out ADORABLE! And this is all you need!

• One juice bottle, pop bottle or Milk carton.
• Bathroom cups for feet [ I used bathroom cups b/c that is what I had around my house! but you could use anything. Thread spools... anything]
• Two sheets of Pink paper for the body [depends how big your bottle is]
• Pink and Black markers
• Tape
• Scissors 
• Box knife
• Pink Yarn 
• Googly eyes [ I used white paper and puffy balls]
• Hot glue gun [optional]
• A parent to help [My dad cut the whole on the top for me b/c there were so many grooves in the bottle]

  

                                              It would probably be easier

 to look at the picture and read through the instructions before you begin the project. 

   

1. Cut slot in top for the money to go in.
2. Wrap paper around the bottle. [Cut to fit.]  I hot glue gunned it down. 
3. Cut slot through paper where the other slot is. *TIP* Make sure that the slit is always 'up' and is the top of the pig.
4. Glue eyes on the lid side of the bottle 
5. Cut out ears. Make them into long triangles so you can fold them over to hot glue them down. Color a small black triangle inside the ears. 
6. Cut 8, 4 inch long pieces of yarn for the tail. Tie not at one end and hot glue down. 
7. Make feet. Color them pink or leave white. Draw 3 small black circles as toe nails. 

     You pretty much have your piggy bank!
