I love candy canes! They are one of my favorite candy's to eat around Christmas, because they remind me of what Christ did for us! I thought this poem was adorable and had to share!
Look at a CANDY CANE, what do you see?
Stripes that are RED like the BLOOD shed for me!
WHITE for my Savior, Who's sinless and pure!
"J" is for JESUS, My Lord that's for sure!
Turn it around And a staff you will see ---
Jesus, my SHEPHERD, Is coming for me!
We (my family) also love making candy cane ornaments! All you need is some red and white beads, and pipe cleaners! Bend your pipe cleaner to kid of make a knot. Then string on your beads, red white red white. Then bend it into a "J" and there you go! :)
