Make some Christmas cards for your family and friends! I have made so many cute cards in the past, sadly, I have given them away before taking a picture of them! So here are some adorable cards I found online (:
I thought this was pretty cute, and different! I have never made a card this way before... :D
- Felt furniture pads
- Card stock
- Sturdy cardboard
- Paintbrush
- Blank cards (or a 11 by 8 1/2 sheet of card stock that will make two cards)
- White paint
- Scissors
- Black and orange paint
- Black marker
- Double-sided tape
For the snowman's body, you'll need pads of equal thickness with three different diameters. Arrange them on a piece of sturdy cardboard as shown. Use a paintbrush to coat the pads with white paint, then stamp your snowmen onto the card stock. Let your prints dry.
- Cut a hat and carrot shape from another felt pad and adhere them to small pieces of cardboard. Use black and orange paint to stamp hats and noses on the snowmen. Add eyes, mouths, buttons, and arms with a black marker. Attach your snowman prints to blank cards using double-sided tape.
This is one of the easiest Christmas cards to make! They are great for kids too. The children at my church made over 30 of these cute greeting cards!
- Scrapbook, origami paper, in assorted colors and/or patterns
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Plain note cards or card stock that is 11 by 8 1/2
- From the paper, cut out a number of colorful candles. Cut out an equal number of yellow candle flames, then simply arrange and glue the pieces in place as shown.
- Give your card to a friend or family member :)
This is an adorable card! And it is pretty simple!
- Wavy-edged craft scissors and regular scissors
- Scrapbook or origami paper in shades of green and brown
- Glue stick
- Use the craft scissors to cut a number of 1/2-inch-wide strips from the green paper. Then use regular scissors to cut a small tree trunk for each card.
- To assemble each tree, first glue the trunk onto a card. Working from the bottom up, trim and glue on the green strips, cutting each as you go so it's shorter than the previous one. Trim the last strip to form a triangular tip. Top the tree with a sticker star.
This is what I call the Cookie Cutter Card (:
Materials (for cookie cutter card)
- Green paper (or felt)
- Blank red cards or red card stock (11 by 8 1/2, which makes two cards)
- Cookie cutters
- Glue stick
- Decorations such as pom poms, glitter glue, markers, sparkles etc.
- Pencil
Instructions
- Trace cookie cutter on green paper.
- Glue Shape onto card
- Decorate as wanted! You could also do the same thing but use yellow paper instead of green, and use a star cookie cutter instead and make a star card!
I hope you will have fun making and sending cards!
