Here are a few ideas for easy meals you can cook for your family.
Meatloaf
Ask your mom/dad for their recipe, or you can use this recipe. Baked potatoe fries go really well with meatloaf.
- Slice your taters into long strips. You could add broccoli and carrots, which is also yummy.
- Pour canola oil into the bottom of a deep pan until it almost covers the entire pan
- Place potatoes in the pan
- Generously coat with salt
- Top with parsley
- Bake in the oven for 30-60 min at 350 F.
Spaghetti
Spaghetti is one of the simplest meals to make.
- Boil spaghetti noodles.
- Warm pizza sauce on the stove. My family usually browns hamburger, then we add tomato sauce, basil, oregano and other seasonings. But do whatever floats your boat.
- Serve with garlic bread
French's Crunchy Onion Chicken
This chicken is crazy good and surprisingly simple! This recipe serves four. For a quick tutorial about how to cook this meal, click here.
- Place French Fried Onions and 2 tbsp. flour into plastic bag. Lightly crush with hands or with rolling pin. Transfer to a pie pan or waxed paper.
- Dip 4 boneless chicken breasts into 1 beaten egg; then coat with onion crumbs, pressing firmly to adhere. Place chicken on baking sheet.
- Bake at 400°F for 20 min. Or until no longer pink in center. Corn or a simple salad would go nice with this. (:
Put on an apron, and have fun.(:
