Acorn House
I have been making acorn houses since I was six! They are so much fun to make with a little brother or sister. And they are adorable!
Acorns relaxing on sofa
- Acorns
- A backyard
- Sharpie
- Twigs, moss, flowers, rocks etc.
- Collect supplies. You will need several acorns. Rocks for the fence, sticks for the walls, wood for the floor, leaves for the roof, moss for the carpet... You get the picture!
- Draw faces onto the the acorns! Make sure you can take off their 'lil hats!
- Build your house! Start from the floor up. So put down the carpet (moss)
- Now build the walls. We put rocks around the 'house' and then we stuck sticks into the ground all the way around the 'house'.
- Make the roof! Collect large leaves and stick them onto the sticks.
- Put several leaves on the 'roof''
- Embellish the house! Use flowers for pillows, rocks for sofas, crab apples for tables, have fun w/ it!
