Boy is it warm here! Just the way I like it. (Actually I absolutely hate the heat, but it's great to stay positive.) Mom becomes extremely ill in warm temperatures.
Setting up an appointment with one of our senators minions, us Coon's got to tour the capital! We visited the old senate building, gazed at the rotunda, which is under construction, and took shortcuts through underground tunnels. When we caught a glimpse of the line to watch the House in session, we bailed.
For Aaron's congressional award, him and mom went to an immaculate dinner downtown in the Hyatt. At their table they were seated with Ron Kind, who is Wisconsin's congressman, the CEO of Johnson and Johnson company, doctor/designer of Johnson and Johnson company, President of the congressional award, president of public affairs of North America, board of trustees of Johnson and Johnson. To think that they got to sit up front, with all of the speakers, is orchestrated by The Lord! Aaron and my mother were the only ones recognized on stage! They won't stop talking about how it was an experience of a life time! It was UNBELIEVABLE.
My night: dad, me and Lissy ate a dinner of PB&J and water on Pennsylvania avenue in "rat park"(we named it that because that was the first time I saw a rat larger than a squirrel).
After our picnic, we traveled to the White House. Security is 💯% there. The obamas
The National monument is gorgeous.
Then we got to visit our good ole buddy Abe Lincoln.
After that we made the 3 mile hike back to our car and picked up Aaron and mom, who were overwhelmed with excitement.
