Okay. I've discovered my new favorite place. Pittsburg Pennsylvania yo. Not sure when my love of nature and the country grew. In Pittsburg, one can enjoy the gorgeous mountains and trees, while being in the city! I have no clue when I started to dislike normal cities! Guess we have a mystery on our hands.
About the photo of the poor helpless soul strapped in a bed (me). We were trying to save space in our hotel room and tried sleeping with the bed sitting up. Didn't work as planned.
Before we packed up the car for our days journey, (and after pigging out on the hotel breakfast) we had the opportunity to enjoy some time with our Lord. These are some verses God had shown me.

Only a 5 hour drive to D.C. today! For some reason it feels like it's taking forever.
Elisabeth, my little sister, has been blasting her Toby Mac, 1 Girl Nation and high school musical tunes all day. She's only 10, and more of a 'common teenager' than me. How does that work?

If you haven't listened to Otto Koning's pineapple story, get ahold of it. He is literally the second best speaker I have ever listened to (after my dad). Mr. Koning's missionary stories are hilarious and touching.
Being a middle child is annoying sometimes. If you say of do the exact thing your older or younger sibling does, you'll get in trouble. But they never get in trouble. I don't lower my standards to their immature level to fight back with them. The easiest thing to do is hold in your feelings and not express that something hurts you. If you express how you feel, you'll get either, #1 immediately be ganged up on and made fun of that something is wrong with you for being hurt by something so small. #2 Ridiculed for being upset. #3 Mocked. #4 Made fun of.
Speaking from the heart right there^ I guess holding in my feelings is my issue. Don't let yourself do it! God has given you people in your life to talk to. Just explain how you feel. That's something I sure need to work on.
Finally! Arrived in D.C.! After checking into our hotel and enjoying some time outside, us Coon's went straight to the Jefferson Memorial. The reflection of the national monument you can view from the Jefferson memorial was stunning.
Last time we were in DC, I took a selfie in front of this memorial. Had to relive that.
