York Town: Day Seven

While enjoying our breakfast, we had great fellowship with a local family from Maryland.

As everyone finished packing up to head out of town, I took Lissy to the pool to swim. These parents came up to me and said, "I'm sure you get told this often, but you are an amazing and sweet sister!" So that was nice of them! B-) After they left, Lissy had the entire pool to herself!

Us Coons made our way to Williamsburg. Stopping in the town 'King George', we picnicked in a parking lot. We had left over ice cream in our freezer at the hotel, so we packed that in a bag with some ice, and that was our lunch. Dad ran into Walmart to grab some whipped cream and it was a great lunch of ice cream. :)

Late afternoon, we arrived to Yorktown! That was where the revolutionary war ended. All of the employees were reenacting the 1770's-80's. Everything was so different. We were able to witness a canon blow and a musket fire.

York Town victory center had a camp from the war set up, an old farm reenactment, and a groovy museum!

We checked into our hotel and cooked up a dinner of sausage and macaroni and cheese. It was great! My family has been really good at making our own meals during this trip!

Elisabeth, Aaron and I ended the day with a dip . :)
